I AM READING OUT THIS POEM FOR MY NAN WHO WAS SO GREAT,
GOD TOOK HER HAND AND SHOWED HOW TO FIND THE HEAVENS GATE,
SHE MEANT SO MUCH TO ALL OF US ITS NOW THAT YOU CAN SEE,
I JUST WANT TO KNOW THAT IN HEAVEN SHE REALLY WILL BE FREE,
SHE WILL NOT SUFFER ANY PAIN OR WORRIES NOW SHES GONE,
I JUST WANT HER TO REALISE THAT OUR LOVE FOR HER WAS STRONG XX
My grief is like a river,
I have to let it flow,
But I myself determine,
Just where the banks will go...
Some days the current takes me
In waves of guilt and pain
But there are always quiet pools
Where I can rest again...
I crash on rocks of anger
My faith seems faint indeed
But there are other swimmers
